The Papatour is first and foremost a joint venture where all participants use their time and energy for the same matter. Furthermore the tour is not a luxury cruise where you can get daily massages and fresh laundry! The strong should support the somewhat weaker to their best ability so that all who really want may participate the tour until the end. We had 40 percent of rain and temperature between 10 and 15 degrees celcius. Our Silke had two crashes and rode the tour till the end, still. She proved that even under those poor conditions all of the participant can succeed the tour. |

I had my old bike weighing 22 lbs with me because I was told that we want to ride a joint tour. If someone registers here in the future who likes to go on the tour a little faster may compete with me by previous arrangement. We then separate for a couple of hours to check how well my Stevens SLC Team can climb mountains! Despite the rainy days I've felt the tour to be very attractive and varied. Especially in the second half of the tour we were all blessed with hospitality in a great way that we did not expect in that superb manner. |

I've found new friends during the tour and will continue to deepen these connections in the future. Burkhardt Lahn alias Emil |
